Seascapes and Abstracts.

 My work is connected to the sea and the endlessly inspiring coastal landscape where I live.  My paintings are less about a particular place or view and more about the atmosphere, stories, textures and patterns of my coastal home.  Fascinated by ancient Welsh legends, primarily Cantre'r Gwaelod, my paintings convey a sense of the mysterious world that once existed here and it’s connection to the world above.  Each painting is created with many layers of acrylic paint, mixed media, and time.
